The violent clashes between two communities broke out in Haryana's Nuh on July 31 when a mob attacked a Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) procession. The violence spread to other parts of the state and reached the Badshahpur area of Gurugram on August 1.
The commissioner emphasised that all legal actions, including arrests and detentions, have been made based on substantial evidence against the perpetrators.
The police urged city residents to refrain from engaging in any form of illegal activities that could potentially lead to further disruption of public order. The commissioner also sought cooperation from all residents and community members to maintain peace.
